H2gO Quick Start Water Data Card
Produced in conjunction with Aqua Research and available only at Cana Provisions, the H2gO Quick Start Water Data Card is manufactured to the same tight standards and form factor as the rest of the water data card family. Designed to be directly integrated with your other water data cards, it contains all of the quick reference steps and troubleshooting steps on a durable, waterproof medium.
Why quick reference cards?
The quick reference card is not a new idea. It has been around for a long while - any time folks have wanted to retain critical, dense material that they would want to double check themselves on, especially in a stressful environment. They’ve taken all sorts of different shapes and forms from writing on bare skin with a permanent marker to ringed notebooks. Having been in the field, frustrated with excruciatingly small instructions that are either damaged by the water, difficult to read or require mental math to convert gallons to liters, or quarts to milliliters - we personally wanted a solution to take this guess work out of the equation. So we started simple: write it down. Have the material pre-recorded, so you’re not seeking it our or taxing yourself when you’re not at your sharpest point mentally. From there we refined this material - it’s easy to put too much information on these cards, where it detracts away from what is critical in the moment.
Aqua Research agreed with us in already including a Quick Start Guide with their H2gO. When we first were introduced to the H2gO, having a set of full instructions seemed cumbersome, but the little quick start guide was just right. After having crumpled them up, lost them, and generally just having had a difficult time with them, we asked their permission to produce this version of the water data card specifically to cover their device and integrate into the rest of the Water Data Cards that we carry on our person.
