This kit includes multiple sets of the 2.5"x10" sediment, GAC carbon, and CTO carbon pre-filters that protect your membrane, plus the alkaline remineralization filters that keep your water pH-balanced and mineral-rich, the 75 GPD thin-film composite RO membrane that does the core contaminant removal, the post-carbon polishing filter, and the 11-watt UV bulb for the sterilization stage. Know your replacement schedule.
The pre-filters (sediment, GAC, CTO) should be replaced roughly every 6 months. The alkaline and post-carbon filters last 6–12 months depending on your water and usage. The RO membrane lasts 2–3 years. The UV bulb should be replaced every year.
