Calibrated for the 10 Liter / 2.5 gallon jerry can such as the Scepter, Highlander, GSI and other water jerry cans — a manageable bulk volume for vehicles, base camp, and shorter-duration storage. Treating 10 liters correctly means dosing that's different from both the 20L/5 Gal can and smaller containers, and this card takes that off your plate entirely: at least five treatment methods dosed for 10 liters, wait-time reminders including cold weather, sterilization instructions for a contaminated can, a full conversion table, and general safe-water warnings. Pre-recorded so you're not taxing yourself in the field, and built water-resistant to hold up where paper instructions get destroyed.

The dosages provided on the Water Data Card Family of products are in accordance and alignment with the dosages as recommended by the CDC and EPA for safe water preparation. Please note that these concentrations and doses are considerably higher than other manufactured options (Aquatabs, Aquamira, H2gO) and should be treated accordingly. Cana Provisions does not recommend the use of household bleach as your primary water treatment method due to the varying concentrations of bleach and its degradation/decomposition over time. Follow all manufacturers directions and personal protective equipment for the safe handling of bleach. Do not drink bleach. Your water treatment is your responsibility.
